At that hour there were but few persons present at the designated meeting place, except the marshals; bn - wally the crowd increased, and by noon there was a great mass of persons waiting. It then became apparent that a number of organiza- tions had been informed that the n hal been abandoned. It was, however, determine to have a procession, and accordingly worl was sent around, and by ene o'clock a sufficient number of organizations had arrived to make & goodly show.
