BRADLEY THREATENS by Justice Walter on Saturday after our rey closed. Margaret Sullivan testified that Poflard’s rooms were broken into by Barrett, and her clothing taken out by kim and tossed into her trunks, which were put out, and after- wards taken to the office of Mr. Biddle. Mr. Riddle testified that he was agent tor Mrs. Pol- lard. A lease had been drawn =P by himself and Mr. Bradley. His understanding was that | Mrs. P. was to have all the rooms in the house except the front basement and Mrs. Barrett's studio. By some oversight these basement rooms were not inc and the next thing he was told was at Mr. Barrett declined to give up the kitchen to Mrs. Pollard, and desired ber to quit the honse offering her $100. She declined to leave. Met Mr. Barrett afterwards at Mr. Bradley's office by appeint- meant, the Mesers. Bradley both being present for the purpose of making some satisfactor; compromise between the parties.
