Royal decrec of 19th May, 1866, relative to capture anc’ confiscation of merchant vessels of enemies. On the proposition of the Minister of State 1 decree that, in the event of war, merchant ves- sels belonging to subjects of hostile States shall not be subjected to capture and confiscation by my ships-of-war, so long as reciprocity be practired by the hostile States. The preceding decree has no application to such vessels as would be sunject to capture and confiscation, even if they were new sbips. Let this, my decree, be published in the Law Register.
