Mr. Khees, ou being asked bis reasons for offering the resolution, stated that it was well knowr thatthe institution was disloyal: that recently three professors have been elected from the Southern army, fresh from the bat- tle fiel with their hands reeking in blood, and the President had lately asserted that the South was right. He was not wilting thar the children in the schools should be subjected to sucb influences. Mr. Johnson stated that the day after Mr Samson returned from Kentacky he called on b d said that bis remarks had not been re- ported correctly.
