Tse Ricumonp Domestic TraGEepy.—The Richmond Times of the 27th says: “Hannah Kirby, who shot and killed her husband a few days since in this city, having been formally turned over to the civil authorities, was taken before Recorder L. T. Chandler on Saturday last; but that officer declined going into an ex- amination at that sage, and therefore recom- mitted her to the City jail until Wednesday next, when she will be arraigned before him and remanded for examination before a regular Court of Magistrates. The mental condition of this unfortunate woman is described as very distressing. She is pale and haggard, and presents a frightful contrast with what was her former ruddy and cheerful appearance. She frequently 5 boned signs of detbronement of reason; contends that her husband is still alive, and anxiously looks for him to come tosee her. Her children are with ber, though strict watch is kept over her, lest she might attempt some vietones upon them. Thetwoeldest, aged about four and two years, will probably soon be taken trom her; and put with someone to board. We under- stand that, in their own right, they will be worth over $20,000.” FrxanctaL.—The N. Y. Commercial of the 27th says the stock market is hesitating and weak. The interest in the railroad list is con- fined almost exclusively to clique movements, which are progressing very unsatisfactorily to their promoters. Governments are = ay by the news of firingon a French vessel on the io Grande by United States troops; which, however, may be taken as reflecting rather the present weakness of Governments than the importance attached to the rumor. Old Five- twenties declined %;Ten-forties, 4; Seven. thirties were 4% lower. The miscellaneous list was gen ly dull. The fancy coal stocks are lower. Gold is dull. The demand for customs is at the rate of about $300,000 per Gay; for export there is nothing wanted except bullion.
