According to bis report made to the Navy Department, on the 24th inst. he captured, after an exciting chase, the British tron screw steamer Tubal Cala, in lati- tude 31 deg. 54 min. north, longitude 74 deg. 23 min. west. She was then steering northwest by north for the port of Charleston. Nessau, N.
