The annual concert of the Georgetown Fo- male Seminary came off yesterday evening in the spacious ball of the institution, which was crowded to overflowing with the parents and relatives of the young ladies and invited guests. ‘Ihe exercises consisted in recitations in Prose and poetry, exercises upon the piano, and singing. In each of these exercises the young ladies acquitted themselves in a manner whieh perfectly delighted the entire auditory. At the conclusion of the concert a num ber of handsome medals and prizes were bestowed a the most proficient as awards of merit. ‘The following are the names of the yoang le dies upon whom whom the awards of merit were bestowed ; Reetor’s gold medal, to Miss Mary Oden, representative of whole school medal, to Miss Mary KR.
