Liquor License Applications Due Before Noon Dec. 13 applications for liquor licenses for use in the city of Juneau must be filed with the clerk of the U.S. District Court not later than noon of Thursday, December 13, J. W. Leivers, clerk of the court, pointed out today. The Juneau city council has notified Leivers that applications for 1952 liquor licenses will be consid- ered by the council on the evening of December 13. , Leivers explained that the appli- cations must be in to his office at the federal building by noon of that | day in order that the list may be compiled and submitted to the council as required by law. MR. AND MRS. CONNORS IN SEATTLE Mr. and Mrs, James J. Connors, accompanied by their son, Capt. Leo James Collins, left Friday by plane for Seattle where Connors will enter | | Sunset Manor and where Mrs. Con- i | nors will live with their son and family. The Connors came to Juneau in 1915. He is the former Collector of Customs here. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burdick will" live in the Connors’ home while they are in Seattle. Connors has been confined to St. Ann's hospital for some time. Mrs. Connors said that she wanted to thank everyone for the attention to Connors while in the hospital and for the care in taking him to the airport.
