Sweeney's Bar took two from Pacific Northern, ‘Alaska Light won two from Alaska Coastal and Caro Transfer won two from the first place Casler's Mens Wear team High game of the evening and of the season thus far was a 243 rolled by S. Taylor. Other “200 Club” members this week were Jim Wood 204 and Ken Loken 203. High sgries were L. Tibbitts 539, Jim Rollison 522, Ed Johnson 513 and Chuck Porter 505. Big Conference Games There are major conference ;ames all over the country but none ~ill have a bearing on the nationa sicture. In the Big Ten, for example Ohio State, seeking to repeat its ;onference victory of last year, goes after Iowa at Columbus, while Northwestern tackles Wisconsin vhich has been beaten but once ndiana bucks Illinois and Michigar engages Minnesota. Notre Dame apidly becoming the forgotten team of college football, goes up against Michigan State in an effort to sal- vage some prestige. Texas gets its chance to give Rice the lumps in the feature Southwest Conference game. Feature of the Southeast Confer- ence program will be the Kentucky- Georgia Tech game in Atlanta. Ken- tucky, the nation’s fourth-ranked veam, is rated a heavy favorite. Wake Forest and. Clemson, un- beaten but tied, play the top South- arn Conference contest.
