If he has good credit and prospects of a good income, the Veterans' Administration will in- sure $2,000 of the amount and the Federal Housing Administration or other agency will insure the bal- ance. Q. Then some veterans can buy a $10,000 hoyse without any cash outlay of their own? A. That is correct. Q. Why was this arrangement made? A. Because many men with good earning power have been in service a long time and their savings have been used during their absence in lend |the armed forces. Q.
