C, is getting exactly what she came to Alaska to see—Alaska under winter flying conditions. Mrs. Hager is waiting with other passengers at the Gastineau Hotel for a break in the weather that will let the two weatherbound Pacilic Alaska Airways planes through to Fairbanks For the past two years she ha been writing special aviation arti- cles for NANA, the Washington Star and other publications through the country . At present she is work ing book entitled “Wings To Wear”—a story of the youth of to- day and his future in the air. The story of the American Cowboy i a creation of her pen already on the market, a photographic-narrative of that picturesque gentleman's lite story. From Juneau, Mrs. Hager, whose husband is a veteran of the United States Flying Service, will fly with PAA to Fairbanks and thence Nome.
