Peterson, arrived in port this morning from Ketchikan, where she was put on the ways and her hull painted. With her return here it was an- nounced she would not continue her regular runs to Skagway. At the present it is planned she will leave here each Wednesday, mak- ing her regular trip to Sitka, and| then instead of returning from Baranef will go on to Kake, Petersburg, Wrangell, naw Bay, Washington Bay, Conclusion, Port Armstrong, Port Walter, Port Herbert, Port Alex ander, Red Bluff Bay and then to Juneau, officers of the boat said Running on this schedule the boat will make trip each week, leaving here on Wednesday and returning the following Tues day. Wrangell may not be in- cluded in the trip, depending on the length of time the voyage will take. Wrangell will not be included as a port of call this voyage. i ALASKA JUNEAU DUMP NOT FOR GARBAGE, METZGAR All persons who have been us ing the Alaska Juneau tailing dump for a garbage dump, are re. quested to stop immediately, ac- cording to L. H. Metzgar, general superintendent of the Alaska Ju neau Company here. Permission was given to the city, by Mr. Metzgar, to dump the planking which is being removed from Front Street on the tailing dump. Apparently the appearance of the planks was misconstrued by some to indicate that they could also| leave ashes and garbage on the: dump, Mr. Metzgar-said.
