S Yt ANNUAL LEAGUE BAZAAR IS SPLENDID SUCCESS Fully up to the standard of pre- vious years, the church bazaar held by the Ladies’ Leaghe last night ‘was a thorough success in every way. Before 8 o'clock the: Eagles hall was well filled with visitors and before thé evening was over, in the neighborhood of $400 was redlized. A fine display of needlework was the main feature of the ba- zaar and received first attention of not only the ladies but the men as well. Mesdames Guy Smith, Felix Gray and J. O. Kirk- ham had charge of the needle- work. ‘The goodies booth, in charge of Mesdames John Mills, Charles Sey, William Anderson and J. R Langseth was next in importance with its large variety of things good to eat which were practically all sold out. The parcel post booth, presided over by Mrs. Earl Watkins, was in popular favor as long as the parcels lasted and the candy booth, managed by Mrs. Ham mock’s Sunday school class of Is- did very well. The fisa pond, managed by Mrs. Robert Praser held the attention of the younger generation until it was pit ’xdthe principal entertainment of the evening, the.following pro- gram arranged by Mesdames L. D. Hammock, Homer Swindle anl F. J. Gallwas was given: Plano Solo—Mrs. 0. G. Goss. Monologue, “How the ElephaLi Got His Trunk”—Jessie Fraser. Sey, Qair and Edmiston. A couple of hoiirs were then spent in dancing. Mrs. O. CG.
