Announcement of the marriage of Mrs. Teresa Anderson to John A. Rogers, popular couple of Midwest, Wyo., was made in Casper yesterday, by wire from Denver where the ceremony was performed on Tues- day, March 24.. The bride is well known in Casper having lived here a number of years and was for some time connected with the Richards and Cunningham store and the Mid- west commissary. She is the daugh- ter of M. Rallie of Greybull. The groom is manager of the laundry at Midwest where the couple will make their home. Rebekah Lodge Benefit Dance Saturday Evening. The Natrona Rebekah lodge No. 13 will hold a benefit dance on Sat- urday evening. March 28 at the Odd Fellow's ball to which the public ts Inyited to attend. Music will be fur- nished by the Alabama Five orches- tra. Educational Tea At ¥. W. ©. A. Ar educational tea will be-given tomorrow afternoon from 3 o'clock until 6 at the Young Women's Chri n association rooms, mem- bers of the board of directors to act as hostesses for members of the or- ganization as well as friends. From. 3 o'clock until 4 a program will be given, tea to be served from 4 o'clock until 5. The affair promises to be both pleasant and profitable combining social and educational features. Some opportunity will be given for those attending to seé something of the work of the association. A group of Girl Reserves will furnish music. Short talks will be made by Mrs, C. D. Murane, Mrs. J. H. Me- Corry and Mrs. E. T Turner on special subjects and a discussion will be led by Miss Mary Kissick. A silver offering will be taken for the benefit of the Qinquennial con- vention of the International Council of Women to be held in Washington in May. eee Eastern Star Meeting This Evening at Temple. The regular meeting of the Order of Eastern Star will be held -this evening at the temple to which all members of the organization as well as visiting members in the city are invited to attend. eee Lutheran Ald to Hold Bake Sale Saturday. The Ladies' Aid society of the Scandinavian Lutheran church will hola a sale of baked goods on Satur- day, March 28, at the Williams store on Grant and Divine streets, begin- ning at 10 a. m. Miller, was host last evening at a smal) dinner party given for six of his friends at his home, 1688 South Elm street, eee Governor Ross Talks to University Students. Governor Nellie T. Ross, who was in Laramie this week to attend a meeting of the board of trustees of the university, gave a short talk at the university assembly on Tues- day, which was held in the main hall of the new gymnasium bullding. Seven hundred students attended. Mrs. John Grieve of Casper, also a member of the board of trustees, and who ts in Laramie for the meet- ing was among those present. President Crane addressed the stu- dents on “Student Budget of Time and Resources.” The program was concluded with a short concert given by the university band. eee Bake Sale Saturday At Stone's Grocery. The Ladies' Aid society of the Trinity Lutheran church will hold a bake sale on Saturday, March 28, at the Stone grocery store, 233 East Second street. Following the business meeting, during which time plans for the year's program were made, a dis- cussion was held and a vote taken by members, which resulted in a de- cision, that the future meeting would be taken up with more lter- ary work, and less entertainment, and that each member should take a more active work in the club. American authors are being studied and it was decided during the meet- ing that each member should pur- chase her own book for the year’s work. The next meeting of the di- vision will be held at the home of Mrs. Lyons, 607 East Lind avenue with Mrs. E. G. Sinclair in charge of the program. Cea Duplicate Bridge Club Meeting Tomorrow. Mrs. J. C, Snook will be hostess tomorrow at her residence, 426 Hast Eleventh street, for the. regular meeting of the Duplicate Bridge club. eee Concert to Be Given Next Tuesday in Glenrock. On Tuesday, March 31, Professor Compton and his band assisted by the Lions’ club quartet of this city, will give a concert in the high school auditorium at Glenrock. Charles Allen Faxon, 23 years of age, and Miss Nina Bell McDonald, 24 years of age, were married in the offiee of Judge Bryant S. Cro- mer today by the judge's father, the Reverend James M. Cromer, D. D. The couple came to the judge to be married. It happened that the judge’s father had just returned from California and was visiting for a few minutes wtih his son.
