The third contest open to high school students to compete for the Kiwanis prizes for proficiency in public speaking will be held at 8 o'clock tonight in the high “school auditorium. This is the last of three contests sponsored annually by the Kiwanis club. Last Monday night the debating contest attracted wide interest in Casper and a large crowd attended Earl Callaway of the Kiwanis club will preside at the meeting. Prin: cipal C. K. Fletcher and Miss Martha Darrah, instructor in pub- lic speaking, have arranged a splen- did program fortontght. The judges will be H. B, Durham of the Kiwanis club, W. O. Wilson of the Rotary club and Dr. C. H. Platz of the Lions club. The prizes will be $10 in gold for the winner and $5 for sevond place the contestants in each of the three divisions in declamation.
