Ross of Wyoming, today expressed approval of the sug- gestion of Gov. J. G, Scrugham of Nevada that congress provide an ap- propriation for financing a quar- antine patrol of the Sterra Nevada mountains, between California and@ Nevada, to prevent spread of the foot and mouth disease from Call- fornia. Governor Ross’ expression followed receipt of a telegraphic re- quest from Governor Scrugham for support for the patrol proposal. Governor Ross, in response to re- {terated appeals to permit race horses from Tia Juana to traverse Wyoming, today again asserted that the Wyoming quarantine against foot and mouth disease would not be modified for anyone under any circumstances.
