All music lovers of Casper and particularly those who have heard Cook’s orchestra and the Apollo club will find agreeable anticipation in the announcement that these two organizations and assisting ar- tists will appear in a joint rehear- sal sponsored by the Wells Music company at the Elks auditorium on ‘Wednesday evening, March 26. The recital will be one of great variety, designed to please both the artist and the novice through the presen- tation of tuneful melodies and an outpouring of harmony only + sur- Musicians to Stage Annual Ball Monday Six - Orchestras to Be Pressed Into Service By Local Union Tomorrow nights third annual musicians’ ball with 36 musicians in the orchestra and numerous nov- elties by various entertainers in in- strumental and vocal specialties will be the biggest musical entertain- ment put on in Casper in many months. Every member of the local union has promised his or her services to add to the gayety of the evening. The dancing will start at nine o'clock with a seven piece orches- tra dispensing the harmony. Each member of the union, as soon as thelr work for the evening is com- pleted, will go to the Elks to aug- ment the orchestra, Tho commit- tee In charge figures that a few minutes after midnight the orches- tra will uumber 36. Dancing will continue until 1 o'clock or later. Six orchestras will -be available. In the musicians local there are several members who have specialty mumbers that always go over big. ‘Thesé specialties will be put on to- morrow night for the edification of the crowd. ‘The musicians put on one annual dance of this kind and their affairs are always a little bit different from any other dance in Casper during the year. Tomorrow night promises to be no exception to the rule. All the money that is made from affairs of this kind is being put in a special fund that will eventually. be used to build a musicians’ club house in Casper, The union has attractive clubrooms for its members now but will not be satisfied until . they own their own home.
