be Casper Daily Ccidbune ze itt AAA IN AY, NOVEMBER 5, 1923 POLLS OPEN FROM 9 TO 5. The People’s Party offers to the voters of this city at tomorrow’s election a well balanced ticket, composed of men, technically trained and fully equipped for the varied duties required of them in successfully conducting a two million dollar corporation. S. K. Loy for Mayor is 44 years of age, has spent his mature years in responsible positions, requiring hard work and close application, and has more than made good in every instance. He is a builder, a big man in both heart and brain, and is the man Casper needs as her chief execu- tive the next two years, when millions of dollars will be expended for water works and other im- provements. While Mr. Loy has gone to the top in his pro- fession, that of a chemist, at the same time he has kept his democratic spirit, and is the most widely knewn and highly respected man em- ployed at the large Casper plant of his com-. pany. It is a common expression, ‘‘Loy will get ninety per cent of the refinery vote.” When he is installed in the Mayor’s chair at the City Hall, the humblest citizen may be sure that he will hear sympathetically any matter presented to him. Like Lincoln, he truly believes in the rule of the people, by the people and for the peo- ple. The writer was associated with Dr. Loy as his assistant for four years, and during those -years I found his judgment on all matters to be impartial. His integrity and purity of character are unquestioned. S. K. Loy and all the candidates on the Peo- ple’s Party ticket stand for the application of strict business methods in the conduct of all de- partments of the city government, and they will be on the job, night and day, for whatever time may be required for its accomplishment.
