PAGE FOUR NURSE CARRIED INTO HOSPITAL DEAD, REPORT Search Made for Man Who Left Body With Nun, Disappeared. ROCKFORD, Ml., Sept, 20—Au- thorities were prepared to perform an autopsy to fix the cause of the death of Svea Oleson, 26 years old nurse, whose body was brought tnto St. Anthony hospital hereTuosday and placed in a wheel chair by a man who fied before Sister Baptista, ® Belgian nun, who saw him, could make herself understood to other nurses. Meanwhile, deputy sheriffs, pro- vided with a description of the man by the nun, continued their search for him. The nun, whose knowledge of English is slight, sald she was near the hospital entrance when the man drove up in an automobile, in which was the body of the girl. He told her the girl was fll, and that he had found her lying in the street. She assisted in carrying the girl into the hospital and attempted to detain the man, who left at once in the ma- chine. Hospital physicians said the nurse ad been dead only a few minutes. They found no marks of violence on the body and said indications were present that death was due to narcotic poisoning. Earlier in the evening hospital au- thorities said Miss Oleson had been given permission to leave the in- etitution and go down town and she had left the hospital. GREAT DAMAGE SUIT IS HEARD NORFOLK, Va, Sept. 20—Trial of a suit for $3,625,000 damages un- er the Sherman and Clayton anti- trust laws, brought by the Peanut Growers’ association against tho Dixie Peanut company and other members of the National Peanut Cleaners and Shellers Association proceeded here today in federal Lawrence L. Levy of San Francis- 0, of counsel for the growers, in his opening statement charged the de- fendants had attempted to “break” the growers’ association by market manipulation and control and by at- tempting to induce the calling of loans made by the war finance cor- poration and banks. Davis. Jack Johnson and E4. Smith were arrested at Casper, and Charles Pas- cal at Buffalo, for alleged operation of stills and possession of “moon- shine.” Grace Mageri and Jack Gilmot were arrested at Rock Bprings, charged with bootlegging.
