Tuesday and Wednesday, June 5 and 6, 8 p. m. One of the most attractive events of the season will be the Children’s Flower Festival and Operetta to be gvien next Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at the Presbyterian taber- nacle, Sixth and Durbin streets Sixty-five children will have part in the program each evening. These have been carefully trained for their parts under the supervision of Mrs. Bert McCarthy and Mrs. C. H. Bow- man, assisted by other women of the church. The costumes will be excep- tionally beautiful, and the tabernacle will be elaborately decorated to fur- nish an appropriate setting. The pro- ceeds will go to the building fund of the church and this program will be the children’s contribution to this purpose. The building fund Is steadily growing, and a large number of people are showing their interest by subscriptions. The children of the church have shown their interest, and their desire to have a part in the erection of the new building by giving this two-evening program, and their efforts should be encouraged by a large patronage. Tickets are now on sale at a moderate price and may be used either evening.
