Benefiting All Mankind Sixty-five millions of our people live day and night with electric service ever at their finger-tips, for thus has a great industry grown from a mere idea, in less than forty years. But every one of our people, as well as all man- kind, is constantly benefitting from the conveniences and the comforts and the economies that electricity has brought into the world. By it we are served in home, office, and factory; on the farm and in the teeming city; in transportation, manufacturing, and communication ; and the thousand and one other ways that thought will instantly picture. This is why the light and power company in your community is a servant you can not do without. It brings to you and your neighbors all the direct and indirect blessings that electricity makes available. It is alert day and night for your touch on switch or button, and it seldom fails you. The Central Station Industry is furnishing people everywhere a necessary commodity, ELECTRICITY, at a remarkably reasonable price. From every con- ceivable standpoint this industry is sound and endur- ing. It meets a real and growing public need, it gives excellent values, it is entirely constructive in its operations. Proof of all this, if it were needed, is found in the stability and soundness of its securities in the markets of the world. (Westinghouse advertisement appearing in Colliers, March 10, 1923.)
