At the present time Casper is in need of a public play- ground. With this need in mind, the Casper Wyoming Rodeo Association was form- ed last Fall by Albert F. Bell, Campbell Christian, and others, all of Casper. Like all other enterprises in their infancy, the Casper Rodeo has so far received a limited amount of support, but sufficient to date to insure it’s permanent existence, in that we have purchased and paid for, all of the buildings, the grandstands, barns, stables, exhibition building, fencing, and other equipment from the old Fair Associa- tion, which ceased last Fall, due to the fact that the lease on their grounds expired, We have been promised the support of the Railroads in that they have promised to extend Excursion Rates from all points to Casper dur- ing the Rodeo Week, and also offered their assistance by displaying Casper Rodeo Advertisements in their coaches. We are mailing circular letters daily to points most advantageous for good results.
