Figures for 1920 show there were 110.3 men for every 100 women in the state. The ratio in 1910 was 116.9 men for every 100 women, Total population of the state, Janu- ary, 1920, according to the telegram was 939,629. Males made up 492,731 of this number. The white population in 1920 was 924,103, compared with 783,415 in 1910. ‘There were 11,318 negroes in the state in 1920, compared with 11,453 in 1910.
