Altona, Montrose and near Butler, besides a host of near neighbore, bringing well filled baskets. Hours joyfully sped and at 12:30 preparations were made to partake of the sumptuous spread so well gotten up that werds cannot do it justice. While dining the honored couple were presented with a handsome silver moustache cup and saucer and a silver mug thickly lined with gold by S P Evans and wife and Mrs Hattie Beard. But the surprise was not so great as to take their appetites, for they laughed, joked and atea hearty meal. Uncle Billy Griggs and wife, who celebrated their golden wedding three years ago, were sp-ken of as bride’s maid and best man. Mr and Mrs. Evans were mar ried at the residence of the bride's parents.
