Tse a EET HEREDITAKY SCRUFULA. Hietory of a Very Remarkable Case. The following voluntary statement, attested by well known citizens of Arkansas, was recently received by the 8. S. S. Company, the writer re- questing its publication. It is cer- tainly one of the most remarkable instances of the cure of hereditary scrofula on record. The convalescent is'a member of a prominent family in Arkansas. The peculiar case again emphasizes the almost miracu- lous power of the Swift's Specific in thé relief and-cure of the most dar- gerous forms of blood disease. It will be observed that several well- known physicians attest the truth of Mr. Crouch’s statement. Mr. Crouch writes that he is continuing the use of 8. S. S. in order to eradicate the last lingering vestiges of the dreadfui malady from which he suffered for so many years, and is doing so “by direction of one of the most promi- nent physicians in the State.” Arkadelphia, Ark., Nov. 1, 1887. The Swift’s Specific Co., Atlanta, Ga.: Gentlemen.—Few have experienc- ed so great an affliction as myself. For the benefit of the afflicted, I make, for publication, a statement vidential remedy. I have suffered foe sixteen years from this affliction of which also my father and elder brother died. Hereditary scrofula attacked me first at the age of twelve years, rapidly increasing till it reach- ed its severest form. During all the time I tried ‘the various remedies which I could hear of, and consulted various physicians, with uo effect I was pronounced incurable. After the use of the bottle of S. §. S., I experienced decided benefit. on different parts of my body, and the palate of my mouth was almost eaten away. I have used the S'S. S. with continuing benefit. I was in an almost helpless condition, and could not rise from my bed without help. Inow have only one of the sores and a stiffness in my left foot and leg, and can get about very handily with the help of crutch. T have full faith that it will, in a Teasonable time, restore me to per- fect health. I used your remedy by direction of one of the most prom - nent physicians of the State. Your respectfully, T. R. Crovcs. We, the undersigned, take pleasure in stating that we are personally ac- quainted with the ab.ve Thos. R. Crouch, and certify that his state- ments are true: Dr. H. H. Arnold, Maj. J. Ross, M. L. Langley, M. D., Arkadelphia, Ark., R. H. Ethrige, Druggist, J. D. Cargile, Okolona, Ark.; N. L. Moore, M. D., Hollywood, Ark.; Rev. G. M. Shaw, Prof. R. P. Peeples, S. P. Kirkham, W. P. Bar- ton, Clear Springs, Arkansas. Arkadelphia, Ark.. Nov. 26, ’87. The statement made by Mr. Crouch is reliable and entirely correct.
