She was born in Deposit, Delaware ‘county, New York, in 1835: She married Oscar Welton in March, 1855, and was converted to Ged in 1856 in Broome county, New York; from which time she has been an acceptable member of the Methodist Episcopal church. About four years ago she came with her husbardand family to But- ler, Mo:, where she has since resided. She died on August .zoth, 1882. The piety of this lady was so pure and unobtrusive as to be prized most by her tamily, who knew her best.
