BISMARCK TRIBUNE, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 193 Senior High School Open House Friday The local observance of American Education week will be concluded Friday night with the open house at the senior high school to which par- ents of high school students and in- terested citizens are invited by the faculty. There will be an opportunity to inspect the building and to meet and visit informally with the teachers in their classrooms from 7 to 8 o'clock. ‘The program in the auditorium be- ginning at 8 will feature the first Public appearance of the junior or- chestra, composed of pupils of junior high school age or younger, under the direction of Clarion E. Olstad, who is leaving Sunday for Aberdeen, 8. D., where Mr. Olstad has been transferred a3 credit and collection manager with the International Harvester company. Tuesday afternoon Mrs. M. G. Jos- und, 701 First St., was hostess at & 1:30 o'clock bridge luncheon honoring Mrs, Olstad. Eight guests were seated at the table, ‘which was appointed with chrysanthe- mum pompons. Score honors in the bridge games were awarded to Mrs. R. E. Thompson, A guest favor was presented by the hostess to Mrs. Ol- Tuesday evening Mrs. E. Ulmer, ‘Mandan, formerly of Bismarck, enter- tained for Mrs. Olstad at a bridge party in her home. Pompons and other autumn flowers ‘were used as appointments. Eight guests were present.
