Going from the Bismarck high school are the Misses Helen Galyen, Arlene McBain and Rita A. Murphy and W. H. Payne. Miss Arlene Loehrke will represent the Wachter school. Assisting will be Robert Jones, Spen- cer Boise, jr., Charles and John Con- rad and William Chaffee, some of whom have already built puppet stages of their own. The boys will help with the scenery, lighting effects and some of the-sound effects. “Robinson Crusoe,” the marionette production, consists of two acts and prologue, adapted and puppetized by Harold Woodcock under the direction of 5 Sarg. Roles played include those of Rob- inson Crusoe, Nanny the goat, Friday, John Worthy, Nero the dog, Polly the parrot and Captain McPherson, as well as a number of savages, muti- neers and monkeys. Sets used will represent a storm at sea, @ deserted beach, the wrecked ship, Crusoe’s home five years later and a secluded spot on the island. * D. J. M'Gillises Will Note Golden Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Duncan J. McGillis, widely known pioneer residents of North Dakota, will observe their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, Oct, 31. Their marriage occurred 50 years ago, Oct. 30, in Bismarck.
