State Colleges Give ~ Rules for Vacation Thanksgiving vacation rules have been announced within recent days by registrars of the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks and the North Dakota Agricultural college at Fargo. At the University, the regular Thanksgiving vacation begins Wed- nesday evening at 6 o'clock and school will be resumed at 8 o'clock the fol- lowing Monday morning. There will be no Thanksgiving vacation at the Fargo college this year because the Christmas vacation starts on Dec. 14, which is only two weeks away. * Bertram J.Dunnto | Spend Winter in City Bertram J. Dunn, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. 14. Dunn, 100 Thayer avenue, west, who has spent the last two years as a radio operator for the Dollar steamship line, came home Sunday and will be in Bismarck during the winter months. Mr. Dunn has been radio operator on the President Coolidge and Presi- dent Hoover steamships of the Dollar line, being stationed most recently on the latter. Since leaving Bismarck he has made altogether about 10 trips to the Orient, the ships stopping en route in the Hawaiian and Philippine Islands and visiting the ports of China and Japan.
