Today’s Recipe Date Pecan Pie One and one-third cups sweetened condensed milk, 2 eggs, %. cup pitted dates, % cup pecan nut meats, 1 tea- spoon vanilla, % teaspoon salt, 1 un- baked eight-inch pie shell. Chop dates. Beat eggs separately, beating yolks until thick and lemon colored, Combine milk, dates, nuts, vanilla, salt and egg yolks. Fold in whites of eggs beaten until stiff. Turn into unbaked ple shell and put ine hot oven (425 degrees Fahrenheit) for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and beke half an hour longer.
