WPA PERSONNEL IN FARGO AREA NAMED Projects in 16 County Districts Expected to Get Under- way Immediately Fargo, N. D., Aug. 22.—()—Works progress administration projects in the 16 county districts with headquar- ters here were expected to get under way immediately following appoint- ment of personnel by Charles L. Hughes, district WPA director. Raphael Van Neste, Jamestown, was named assistant director and chief engineer; W. W. Murphy, Far- go, supervisor, division of labor man- agement and division of safety and compensation; Mrs. Hester S. Wells, Langdon, supervisor, intake and cer- tification; R. E. Flynn, Fargo, super- visor, finance and reports; Thomas McCann, office manager; John O. El- liott, Fargo, chief accountant. Five engineers appointed are G. G. Bawdon, Vincent J. Buck and M. 8. Hyland, all of Fargo, who will be sta- tioned at Jamestown, Fessenden and Lisbon, respectively, as resident en- gineers, and L. K. Clark, Mohall, and Darvi N. Hoppert, Wahpeton.
