Some of the farm, mine and specialty issues were also in demand. On the other hand, the majority of the rails, utilities, motors and air- crafts were narrow. The close was steady. MARKET'S 4 CENTS ADVANCE CHECKED BY PROFIT TAKERS Losses of About Cent a Bushel Results From Moderate Liquidation Chicago, Aug. 22—(#)—The wheat market's two day advance which add- ed four cents to prices was checked Thursday. by sellers who took the chance to accept profits. Losses of about a cent a bushel resulted from moderate liquidation that included some hedging. The world wheat situation watch is considered bullish by many traders showed little change but broad specu- lative buying failed to appear. Pres- sure on the market was light, how- | % ever.
