Two Men Killed as Mail Plane Crashes Amazonia, Mo. Nov. 16.—(7}—Two veteran pilots died early Friday in the flaming wreckage of their transport Plane on a farm near here. H. C. Murky weather at Omaha had delayed the! take-off 30 minutes. Farmers in the vicinity of the crash said the plane had circled low, apparently in distress. Walter Rudolph, on whose farm the plane fell, said the pilot apparently ‘was attempting to make a forced land- ing in his cornfield. Upon crashing the plane burst into flames, he said.
