Taylor, cs. announced Healt re-employment director for the H ‘An orderly labor market to CWA| and PWA was made possible through the national re-employment service, with 36,000 jobs available through CWA, and 5,000 more on PWA projects prior to December 1. National re-employment offices are located in the county seat of each county in the state, with a county re- gochey manager in charge. ‘Through the efforts of these man- agers, onT73 men of the unemployed Uist have been placed in position but many of the jobs are of a temporary nature. Taylor said in praising the work of the managers “their action in this great national emergency has been; that of true Americans who have the welfare of their nation at heart. They have accepted a task requiring limit- Jess hours of labor, abuse and male- dictions from unthinking and unrea- sonable people. They have shouldered the brunt of tfijust criticism and still put forward their best efforts to carry through President Roosevelt's great Tecovery program.” Notes Misunderstanding Taylor pointed to an apparent mis- understanding of the general public concerning the re-employment service and the civil works program. The civil works program is simply one employer, he said, calling atten- tion that the service rendered to civil works is at the command, without charge, of every employer in the state regardless of the type of business. Records and selected lists of any type of workers are at the call of all employers on request. “A telephone call or a letter to the national re- employment office located | at the county seat,” Taylor said, “will | bring the desired information. There | are countless employers within the | state who are unaware of this free | service and have not availed them- selves of it.” Taylor said persons seeking employ- ment are welcome to register at their | county re-employment office. He also | urged persons who previously regis- tered in county re-employment of- fices to renew their registration. “With the coming of spring and the returning to farms of many people | who have been unemployed,” he said, | “it is essential that these applications i be renewed that we may know just which of these people are available | tor work and still seeking positions. | Applicants should notify county re- employment managers immediately ppeiner. they | are still seeking work, he expl Visit Gussner’s Booth at the Auto Show. | HEARTY MEAL e puacons ede of hard JURUM molina is MORE NOURISHING than al- food you c: Macaroni can be prepared f scores of attractive, waysgjaod makes a real, hearty pega oa pe be Mlape sore Brand Mac: roducts—the ones made ‘ONLY of the best Durum wheat semo- lina, Long or elbow cut macer oni, spagherti, egg noodles. ; mre Jenny Lee's noe A free SineaoeThnce for RONT CO, Seist Paul, Mico. Would you use cube sugar to mix a cake? There are several.types of sugar (granulated, powdered, cube). Each is prepared to serve a different purpose. So it is with coffee. There are two vitally different methods of making it—percolator and drip. Each demands a dif- ferent coffee. In a drip coffee maker, boiling water drips oNLY ONCE through a coffee specially prepared to yield its flavor QuIcKLy. In a percolator, water many times through a coffee prepared to yield its flavor sLowLy. The same coffee can be used for both methods, but like a “Jack-of-all-trades” it is “master of none”—neither drip nor percolator. In one or the other, little things happen. It’s a little weak, or a little strong, or a little cloudy, or it has 4 little less flavor. It’s these little things that make or mar good coffee. Be sure to use the correct coffee for each method.
