The main body of the map, a pic- torial correlation of geography and history depicting the series of fron- tiers conquered by the American pioneers, is profusely illustrated with the routes, and trails of the successive expansion areas—the Wilderness Road of Boone, the Lancaster Pike, the Na- tional Road, the Oregon, Santa Fe, the map runs a border of pictures giv-| length and carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses, George Buckley was best man for Mr. Stephens.
