THE BISMARCK TRIBUNE, FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 1931 WATER AT CANP SITE IS FOUND SANITARY Health Official Says Water at Camp Chan Owapi Satis- factory for Swimming In a signed statement, made public Priday, Dr. A. A. Whittemore, head of the state department of public health, branded as false a rumor that the water at Wildwood Lake, site of the Bismarck boy scout camp is un- fit for swimming purposes. Dr. Whittemore said, “The state de- Partment of public health has made @ very careful analysis of water from | ‘Wildwood Lake and has found no Pollution sufficient to endanger the health of any person swimming therein. In the opinion of the de- partment the water is absolutely safe for swimming purposes. Donald Fulton will be “Detail Boss” of the camp and will assist in the water-front activi- ties. Marianne Fulton will act as camp nurse. Martin Winge, Bismarck, will pre- side over ihe camp cuisine. Any boy of scout age and all scouts are eligible to attend the camp and | can make application to the camp j committee of the council through W. G. Pulton.
