Huschka, Dawson, to Preside at Meeting May 2'in Valley City Benjamin Kuderling, 72, H. G. Schwantes’ Uncle, Buried in S. D. for Benjamin Kuderling, 172, uncle of H. G. Schwantes, who died here Tuesday while under medical treatment, were held today at Big Stone City, 8. D., where tho body was sent by the Reif undertaking establishment. Kuderling was a native of Germany and resided at Brockton, Montana, Daughters of the American Revolu- tion, at the annual business meeting held yesterday afternoon following 4 12:30 luncheon at the home of Mrs. E. T. Beatt, 422 First street. Mrs. Christianson, who served last year as a succeeds Mrs. B, K. Other officers named were Mrs. 8. D. Cook, first vice-regent; Mrs. P. J. Meyer, second yice-regent; Mrs. Be- att, recording secretary; Mrs. J. P. French, corresponding secretary; Mrs. P. C. Bakken, treasurer; Mrs. L. P. Warren, registrar; and Mrs. F. Strauss, historian. Mrs. Eric Thorberg, chairman of the committee who arranged for the presentation of the Tony Sarg Mar- jonettes here Monday, reported that the entertainment was not only a success financially, but it also brought to Bismarck a rare treat in the mat- ter of shows. Because of the fine support, Minishoshe chapter will be able to keep the cabin open during the coming summer, with a hostess, ‘and will be able to take care of any needed repairs. In a resolution adopted by the chapter, appreciation was expressed for the splendid cooperation of Bis- marck business, service clubs, and schools, as well as the Mandan busi- ness men and schools. During the meeting Mrs. R. D. Hoskins gave a report of the state conference in Minot, which she at- tended. Places were marked for 31 at the luncheon tables, and appointments were in pink, Snap dragons adorned the tables, ‘and baskets of spring flowers and pussy willows were used about the rooms. Hostesses were Mrs. Beatt, Mrs. Christianson and Mrs. G. F. Dullam. : Guests of the chapter were Mrs. Mell Pollard, a member of the chap- ter at Marshfield, Wis., and Mrs. M. ‘Morgan, a member of the chapter at Fredonia, N.
