Blocking their path in the semi-finals were the surprising Cadets from St. John’s Military Aca- cemy, Delafield, Wis. Battling for final position in the upper bracket were two fighting teams from Cor- inth, Ky., and Jena, La. Athens galloped into the semi-final round last night. The champions seemed to toy with the big five from ‘Wheatland, Wyoming. They piied up ‘9 27 to 5 margin at the three-quarter mark and,then loafed along and fin- ished it with a 31 to 14 victory. St. John’s won the right to chal- lenge the champions in the semi-final bracket by fighting a great uphill battle and edging out the picturesque team from Braselton.
