Mr. and Mrs. Christ Zeigler and three younger children drove over to the Bieng home where they spent the day. Mr, and Mrs. Christ Metzger and children drove over to the ‘Gober home to spend the day. ‘The new mail route which started south from Dodge on Monday is being appreciated by all the folks on the route (some 70 members so we hear). ‘The route is being driven by Roy Burgess at present. Gordon Schaffner and Dom Peck motored to Sims, N. D., on Monday, where they met Mrs. Jerome and children, and Mrs. Wang, and brought them out to the Schaffner Ranch, where they will visit for some time. L. R. Woolery motored to Hebron on Friday where he met his two chil- dren, Wayne and Faye, who are at- tending high school ,they accom- panied him home to spend the week- end. Mrs. Steve Craft is visiting her par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Maerschbe- ber, who live in Hebron. HELGESON Eveayone reports a very good time at the masquerade dance given by the American Legion auxiliary on Satur- day evening. The costumes were orig- inal and interesting. Prizes for the best costumes were given to Mrs, Carl Berg, who dressed as “Night,” and to C. Rosendthal, who was costumed as “Yankee Doodle.” At midnight supper was served by the hostesses, Mes- dames J. Keifer, H. Taylor and A. Ghylin. Music was supplied by L. Hopkins, J. Carlson and A. Ghylin. The next regular meeting of the American Legion auxiliary will be held on March 13 at the Log Cabin. Pot- luck lunch will be served. The presi- dent, Mrs. C. L.
