Mrs. Grace Morrison Poole, nation- al vice president of the federation, Governor George F. Shafer, J. M. Devine, commissioner of immigration of North Dakota, and Attorney W. F. Burnett of Fargo, are among the speakers on the program, which was nearly completed at a meeting of Mrs. E. L. Simmons, chairman, and the other members of the program committee, Mrs. Harve Robinson, Dickinson; Mrs. Dwight Crabtree, President of the Sixth district, Ellen- dale; and Mrs. Albert E. Jones, pres- | ident N. D. F. W. C., and ex-officio member of committee, Lisbon. With 25 chairmen of local committees at Dickinson now at work on prepar- ation for the state meeting, a confer- ence was held at Dickinson Saturday following luncheon at the Belle ‘Tavern. All the convention meetings will be held in the 8S. T. May auditorium at the state normal school and the dor- mitory and lunch room at the school will be used for the entertainment of the visitors. Visiting delegates will also be taken on an excursion through the big lignite briquetting plant at Lehigh and afternoon tea will be served at the Dickinson country club. The North Dakota Federation of Women's clubs has endorsed from the start the campaign of the Greater North Dakota Association to secure a national park in the Bad Lands. On September 27, many of the ladies who have worked for the Roosevelt Na- tional park will view the Bad Lands for the first time. zs 8 & Bridge Party Honors Wisconsin Visitor Complimenting Miss Helen Skin- ner, Stoughton, Wis., who is a guest at the home of Dr. and Mrs. A. 0.
