Scoring two field goals in the last 40 minutes of play, Hank Brown gave the Phantoms a 20 to 17'margin to win over the Ambrose-Crosby Twins, professional team, at the high school gymnasium Saturday night. Barneck Jewelers, having only a two-point lead at the end of the half, showed their old shooting form in the second half to defeat Fort Lin- coln 55 to 29 yesterday afternoon. The Phantoms meet the strong Granville outfit at the high school gymnasium at 8 o'clock tomorrow night. The Ambrose-Crosby outfit was strengthened Saturday night with Mike Geston, star performer of the State Trainers five, at one guard. The Twins led at the half 11 to 7 and at the end oi the third quarter 13 to 11, ‘The second half was an exciting affair. The Phantoms would tie the score only to sce the Twins spring ahead again. With 40 seconds to go, Hank Brown, was inserted. The score stoed 17 to 16 for the Twins. Brown dropped in two from under the basket after receiving beautiful passes from Burdick in that hectic sally. ‘The Jewelers met a much-improved team-at Fort Lincoln, and had only g 21 to 19 lead at the half.
