East of Regan on Highway No. 36 there was over six feet of water on the grade. The road was impass- able until sometime the next day. They called at the Willard Dimond home also. Mrs. H, Dimond of Regan is a guest of her son Willard this week. Luther C. Bailey passed away at his home Friday afternoon after a lingering illness. The funeral serv- ices were held at the Pentecostal church in Regan Sunday afternoon. He leaves a wife and five children, Dorothy, Myron, Elden, Clell and Elza, his father, four sisters and five brothers. He died at the age of 82. So many people went home and did the chores and came back for the dance and fireworks. A bad wind storm visited this part of the vicinity last Thursday night, reaching just certain places bad enough to tear down the roof of Emil Keen's barn, also Christ Ahl’s barn roof, pushed in the sides of the rage, also blew down Joe Link’s Srilling machine and garage, and blew down Steve Mesmer’s barn.
