ays i | ) Rena Mosbrucker Becomes Bride of Dell A. Baertsch The wedding of Miss Rena Mos-| brucker, daughter of Mrs. Margaret ! Mosbrucker of Bismarck, and Dell Andrew Baertech, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Baertsch of Marion, ‘Was solemnized ‘iuesday morning at St. Mary’s Procathedral. Father John Slag read the marriage serv- ice before an altar adorned with roses, peonies and ferns. Miss Blache Doorley, who at- tended the bride, wore a frock of Nile green ‘ge ded ané lace, and a picture hat of screen horsehair braid trimmed with silk roses. Her flowers were arranged with an arm bouquet of Columbia rose. Her- bert L. Thorndah! of Minot was best man, and J. M. Lacey and G. H. Kenney, ushers. The bride’s gown was of ivory satin and rosepoint lace, fashioned with a bodice and bouffant skirt with uneven hem line. Her tulle veil was caught with a wreath of orange blossoms. Her only orna- ment was a necklace of pearls with a crystal pendant. She carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses and lilies-of-the-valley. White taper candles, roses and carnations decorated the table for the wedding breakfast, served at the Grand Pacific hotel, following the ceremony. Places were marked for 28 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Baertsch are taking a two weeks’ motor trip to eastern cities. Upon their return they will be at home in Bismarck. Clever Musical Revue Is Played Wednesday The clever little musical comedy star, Lucille Elmore, captivated her audience Wednesday at the after- noon _ and evening perforraances of the Bismarck chautauqua. Miss Elmore’s revue consisted of songs and dances, snappy Wialog and a clever ventriloquist act. Miss El- more was supported by splendid musical talent. Dr. Robert Parker Miles, famous Heat speaker, was the second feature of the program Wednesday. “Tallow He delivered his lecture, , Dips.” ‘his afternoon music lovers were afforded genuine pleasure when the Philharmonic Ensemble played. This group of artists will be pre- sented again this evening for the first part of the performance. i John B. Ratto will be on this eve- ning’s program. He is a make-up artist, who will impersonate many of the world celebrities. All Boy Scouts are invited to at- tend the chautauqua performance this evening as guests: of the man- agement, according to an announce- ment made today by C. H. Skinner, superintendent of the local chautau- qua. Their Boy Scout credentials, badge, hat, or any Boy Scout sign will admit them to the tent. Members of the A. O. U. W., who plan to attend the wiener roast this evening at 7 o'clock under the Man- dan side of the Memorial bridge, are requested to bring their own dishes. A short business meeting will be held at the A. O. U. W. hall before the wiener, roast. Lieut. Col. and Mrs. Thomas W. Brown, who have been stationed at Fort Lincoln for the last year, will leave Sunday for Corning, N. Y., where they will spend a short va- cation with relatives before going to Washington, D; C. Duncan and John Wallace have arrived in Bismarck from Detroit, Mich., to spend the summer with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. J. McGillis, and their uncle and aunt, Dr. and Mrs. H. T. Perry.
