Mrs, George Robinson from Max writes that oil prospects are making farmers feel good and a party is drilling for oil with his own money on the Solberg farm. They think it will make land boom. The Okla- homa Drilling Co., E. P. Moorhead, will start April 1st drilling on the Solberg farm. Mrs. Alec Anderson, who stayed a week with her parents, McDonald’s, south of Bismarck, and had med- ical treatment, returned home Sat- urday. Mrs. Pearl Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Magnuson and family were entertaincd last Sunday at the Charlie Rue home. Viran Nelson went to the Fred Schroeder home Monday and got Mrs. Porter Nelson, who went along with them to Bismarck to visit with her husband at the Bismarck hos- pital. The doctor there advising him to go to Bismarck, which he did. He was operated on Wednes- day and passed away Monday morn- ing. Mrs. Wallman was with him, having gone down Saturday eve- ning. Funeral services were held from the Pentacostal church in Regan, Rev. Christ of Wilton offic- iating. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to Mrs. Wallman and family. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mickelson, Vir- ginia Walman, and Jim Little mo- tored to Bismarck Monday. Julius Olson and Fred Berquist were passengers to Bismarck Thursday. The Ladies Aid of the Regan Con- gregational church will give a waffle supper in the Hotel, Saturday, March 24. All are invited to attend and help a good cause. The money realized will be added to a fund set aside for the purpose of buying new pews for the church.
