Warn- er Baxter and Ford Sterling are fea- tured players and the presence of the latter in the cast is assurance of , Plenty of comedy. News pictures and «plthe comedy, “Her Husky Hero,” are ‘WY other features on the Eltinge program for today and Saturday. CAPITOL THEATRE A picture of the great West that is different is “The Western Whirl- wind,” the Universal-Blue Streak Western shawing at the Capitol Theatre for today, Friday and Satur- day. Jack Hoxie is the star, and he has once more rung the bell in a clean, virile he-man picture. Jack enacts the role of Jack Clay- ton, the cowboy ex-soldier who re- jturns from France after being de- . mobilized from the army of occu- pation, He finds that his father, who had been sheriff of Gold Strike, had been killed during the absence of the soldier cowboy and devotes his time to uncovering the slayer and bringing him to justice. In this venture he is ably aided by his two pets, “Bunk,” the dog with almost human intelligence, and “Scout,” his famous movie horse. The able portrayals of these two animals make the picture one of ‘unique distinction in this day of al- leged aniisal intelligence. Hoxie has never been seen to bet- ter advantage. Full play is given his wonderful ability at riding and fighting and every foot of the film is filled with action. What’s your shoe size?
