Miss Sylvia graduated this year, but Miss Avis will return to Bismarck in the fall and continue the work. The people of Braddock were deeply grieved Monday noon when a message was received that Mrs. Fern Henry had passed away at the B marck hospital. She was taken Sunday morning at her home near Braddock. Medical aid was sum- moned and she was rushed to the hospital. Her widowed mother made all haste from Oakes to ‘her bedside Sunday. ‘She arrived there before the end came. The body was shipped to Oakes Tuesday, the train being held at Braddock to allow her host of friends to view the remains. Rev. Pearson rend a short message to the sorrowing friends and offered up a prayer. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Oakes, and burial was made jin the Onkes' cemetery. Mrs. Ethel Nelson Henry was born in Oakes Oct. 3, 1903, living nearly all of her life there.
