_ WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, 1925 THE BISMARCK TRIBUNE Roosevelt School To Give Cinderella Operetta March 10 Over sixty Roosevelt School chil- dren are in the cast of the operetta, “The Maid and the Golden Slipper which will be presented to the pub- lic on Tuesday evening, March 10, under the direction of Miss Hanson. The operetta in two acts and four scenes tells the charming Cinderelia/ legend with the child famous kitchen and ballroom palace scenes. A special performance for the chil- dren of the school will be given the day before the public performance, at 7:30 o'clock in the evening. The dancing in the operetta is un- der the direction of Miss Ferguson; , costumes and stage properties are in the care of the Misses Schroeder and Rue; and Miss Jones is accompanist. WILL ORGANIZE STATE COMMER Last evening at a dinner at the Grand Pacific Hotel the following] secretaries met to develop prelimin- ary plans for a state-wide Commer- cinl Secretaries Association: Jim Barrett, Civic and Commerce Association, Devils Lake; W. W. Blaine, Commercial Club, Grand orks; James Milloy, Association of Commerce, Minot; E, A. Ketter, Co- mercial Club, Mandan; Lynn Cowell, “Commercial Club, Valley City; A. F. Bradley, Association of Commerce, Bismarck. It is planned to call a meeting of all secretaries in the state in the spring to organize formally a state association. The secretaries in the afternoon participated in the annual meeting of the North Dakota State Automo- bile Association, held at the Mc- Kenzie Hotel, and assisted in the de- velopment of a comprehensive pro- gram for the coming year. ENTERTAINS ROWLEY RUSTLERS Miss Muriel Robinson entertained the Rowley Rustlers Monday «rening at the home of Miss Marian Acker- man. The evening was spent making plans for a party to be given at the Methodist church some time -this month. Refreshments were served at ten o'clock by Miss Robinson as- sisted by Miss Ackerman. OF PRESBYTERIAN LADIES AID The Presbyterian Ladies Aid will hold their regular meeting tomorrow afternoon ‘at 2:30 in the church par- lors.. A committee from the first di- vision will serve refreshments. HERE FOR, KREISLER CONCERT Mrs. M, J. Connolly and son, Ro- bert, of New England arrived in town this morning to hear the Kreisler Concert at the Auditorium this even- ing. Mr. Connolly is Enrolling and Engrossing Clerk of the Senate. MEN’S SUPPER AT ST, GEORGE'S A men’s supper will be served in the Parish House of St. George's church on Thursday at 6:30 p. m.
