This was tollowed by songs by the Workmen quartette, which was the big hit of the evening. In spite of the numerous songs the quartette sang, the members wanted them to continue. Franklin Roberts had some difMficul- ty to get a man to meet him in the ring after jt was discovered that Bat- tling lynn of Wilton could not ap- } pear because of the poor roads. How- ever, Young Fetch, fresh from his ini- tiation, agreed to put on the gloves with Roberts. Roberts won in the first round. After the boxing match of short duration, Young Fettig and Warder Roberts put on a wrestling match, which was pretty evenily contested. Roberts won the first fall in little over one minute, Fettig downed Ro- berts in two minutes and Roberts won his second fall in a little over two minutes. ‘Grand ‘Master B. C. (Marks of Fargo, spoke on “Good of the Order,” and Grand Recorder E. J, Moore of Far- years, told of the growth of the or- ganization in this state. Deceased who was one of the best known yoyng women of the St. Anthony district, was married to Leonard Damskey Oct. 10, 1918, and for about a year made their home in Mandan. A little less than a year ago they moved to Carson, Ia., returning here about a month ago because of Mrs. Damskey’s poor health. lovable disposition and her sudden and untimely death will come as a severe shock to a host of friends.
