The highest daily clearance was on September 24, when the amount reach- ed $55,175, and the next highest on September 29, with $53,800. If all of the banks in Bismarck cleared their checks and drafts thru the clearing house, it is said, the total for the city would be over $1,500,000 each month. Judge A. A. Wanner received today Judge Bruce said he was honored by the request and that he would positively be present to make the address, The flagpole, which is of steel and 100 feet in hight, has arived and will be put together before the end of next week, painted and erected in the park in front of the Northern Pacific depos. The pole, because of its length, will concrete which will serve as a base also for the bronze tablets bearing ti2 names of those who served in the wir from the county, for Mrs. Corcoran Thursday Morning Funeral services for the late Mrs. Ellen F. Corcoran, who passed away at her home in St. Paul on Sunday, will be held at St. Mary’s pro-cathedvai at 8:30 Thursday morning ‘and inter- ment will be made in St. Mary’s cent- etery. Originally it was planned to have the last rites at St. Mary’s this morning, but the remains did not ar- rive from St. Paul until noon today. The body will lie in state at Perrys undertaking rooms from 7:30 to 9:30 this evening, when the remains may be viewed by friends of the deceased, Mrs. Ellen F, Corcoran was born and reared in Bismarck and resided here until two years ago, when, with her husband, William E. Corcoran, aa1 her two little sons, she went to St. Paul to make her home. The deceased was 85 years old. There survive her husband and two Sons and one sister, who resides in Salt Lake City. C. Ruble of Driscoll and Mr. Hanson of Wisconsin, were in Bis- marck yesterday in connection with the W. E. Titus farm which Mr. Han- son purchased recently.
