The people of the allied Europe ar getting together in a vast army ° g° behind jthe League of the Nations. The movement under way in all the allied countries has two purposes: ONE—To give active support assistance in the formation of League of Nations. TWO—Once the league is formed, to back it up durng its trial and “make sure it’s a go,” to promote the necessary friendly sentiment be- tween nations so that the working of the league will become friction} and the From Milan, Italy, comes news of a! great mass meeting held there recent- ly, when supporters of the League of Nations numbering thousands got busy on an active program, An Italian national congress is be- ing organized as a result of this mass meeting. Steps are being taken to work with league of jons societies in other countries. Meetings are be- ing held in many parts of Italy, and the advantages of the league are be-| ing taught through the préss and else- where. 2 Similar organizations are even fur- ther advanced in France.
